چکیده
Introduction Several factors related to the risk of requiring psychiatric hospitalization have been described in patients diagnosed with schizophrenia treated methods other than home treatment. With regard symptoms, high global illness severity and positive symptoms most frequently schizophrenia. However, there are no studies describing which clinical increase likelihood being hospitalized while undergoing follow-up. Objectives To determine assessed PANSS predict following a treatment program. Methods All who were visited by team Barcelona between January 2017 December 2021 included study. A comparative, bivariate analysis each item results category was conducted on those not hospitalized. Finally, logistic regression done both groups, controlling for socio-demographic factors. Results total 1045 evaluated this symptom subscale (PANSS-S), General Psychopathology, Excited Component Global Score scored higher finally conventional acute unit. Regarding negative subscale, significant differences found two groups. In required hospitalization, scores all (PANSS-P) items excited component (excitement, tension, hostility, uncooperativeness poor impulse control) significantly higher. Some regarding general psychopathology (Somatic concern, anxiety, guilt feelings, mannerisms) also group. Only 3 items—blunted affect, feelings motor retardation—scored did require hospitalization. regression, only score PANSS-P reached statistical significance (P = 0.001). Conclusions Positive seem be predictive Schizophrenia Other exciting showed as relevant patients. Disclosure Interest None Declared

The positive and negative syndrome scale (PANSS) for schizophrenia.
The variable results of positive-negative research with schizophrenics underscore the importance of well-characterized, standardized measurement techniques. We report on the development and initial standardization of the Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale (PANSS) for typological and dimensional assessment. Based on two established psychiatric rating systems, the 30-item PANSS was conceived as...

Many neuroimaging studies of schizophrenia have shown abnormalities in the frontal cortex, limbic system, basal ganglia, temporal and parietal lobes. These findings are not specific or consistent enough to build up a coherent theory of the origin of the brain abnormality in schizophrenia. This paper describes a state-of-the-art approach of SPECT to correlate neuropsychological evaluation. PANSS...
